DFG Surveyor key responsibilities include:
* Managing Disabled Facilities Grant cases from referral through to completion
* Carrying out property inspections and technical assessments
* Preparing schedules of work and specifications for adaptations
* Overseeing contractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
* Providing technical advice to residents, families, and partner agencies
* Ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation, health and safety standards, and organisational procedures
* Supporting service improvement and maintaining accurate project records
* Working closely with Occupational Therapists and external stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes for residents
The successful DFG Surveyor will have:
* Experience delivering Disabled Facilities Grant or housing adaptation projects
* Strong xsngvjr knowledge of housing construction, repairs, and building regulations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently
* A relevant surveying, construction, or technical qualification
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
