Summary of Role Create and maintain sprinkler projects programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, flagging potential risks to programme delivery. What you will be doing * Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using programming software (e.g., Microsoft Project) * Coordinate with design team, project engineers, sub contractors, and other stakeholders to gain project buy in and agree regular touchpoints. * Analise designs and specifications to determine resource requirements * Forecast labour, material, and equipment needs throughout project lifecycle * Identify potential program conflicts and develop contingency plans * Monitor construction progress against the plan and adjust programme as needed * Prepare regular progress reports for project management and clients * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards * Support the procurement process by identifying lead times for materials and equipment * Participate in project meetings to communicate schedule updates and constraints * Must have NEC contract-based Planning experience, within medium sized construction projects (1m to 20m range) What we will need from you * 3-5 years of experience in construction planning or project management – ideally gained within the sprinkler industry * Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) * Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry practices * Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters and thorough experience and understanding of programming techniques * Experience of the Construction industry and industry standards * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and interpersonal abilities * Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills What you can expect in return * Salary Range competitive & negotiable * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days * Contributory company pension scheme * Car allowance £5k per annum * Life Assurance * Private medical scheme * Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45 – 16.40, Friday 8.45 – 16:00) Please note: You may be required to undertake a DBS check as part of your job role at Hall & Kay.
