Business Analyst, Consumer Duty ( 6 - 12 months FTC )

Due to business growth, they are now looking acquire the services of a Business Analyst, Consumer Duty.

Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing, monitoring and analysing all data for the Consumer Duty dashboard for Private Banking and Business Development.
* Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of Private Banking in relation to Consumer Duty
* Collaborates with external consultants and other stakeholders to determine required data
* Researches, reviews, and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
* Assists in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements
* Participates in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.
* Analyses and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
* Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
* Develops and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Experience with the FCA's Consumer Duty Regulations preferred.
* 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar financial services business analyst type role, ideally Private Banking
* Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, and methodology development
* Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
* Strong working knowledge of Excel skills sufficient to produce reports and meaningful MI
* Essential : Proficient skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Excellent research and datamining skills
* Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and assist others when required.
* An ability to ‘think outside the box’ and look for creative solutions
* Strong drive for continuous improvement.
* An inquiring mind to investigate client issues
