Due to continued growth, a leading European manufacturer of automotive parts is actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
With over 20 sites in Europe, the organisation holds a firm position within their industry, taking a professional approach throughout the business.
Your role will be to lead the maintenance team towards full TPM, ensuring continuous and safe running to reduce incidents and breakdowns.
As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:
* Leading in-house electrical installations and major technical maintenance operations such as toggle replacements, pump repairs and hydraulic seals replacements.
* Taking responsibility for the technical side of in-house continuous improvement projects.
* Enforcing a preventative mind-set rather than corrective.
* Managing all aspects of 5S around maintenance.
To be successful in the role of Senior Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:
* Have experience at a similar level in an injection moulding environment
* Be multi-skilled with a strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment and automation.
* Hold electrical qualifications.
* Be able to read and understand technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical).
* Be able to work well within teams as well as taking a lead.
