Job Details Summary: This role as an Asset Information Technician within our Asset Management department is a fantastic first step into a career in asset management, with a clear development pathway to promotion as an Analyst. You'll be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of asset records for our vast water supply network made up of pipework, pumps, valves, motors and sensors. You'll manage our data systems like Maximo and provide insights to optimise asset performance and lifecycle management. We're looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, experience in data administration and document archiving, and a positive attitude to help maintain our physical and digital asset records, including manuals, health and safety records and land registry records. You'll ensure the data is accurate, complete, and easily accessible for the benefit of the entire organisation. Main Responsibilities: Completing asset updates in accordance with defined procedures, quality standards and service level agreements. Reviewing and processing asset data from various sources / systems / formats. Validating asset data and as-constructed records in accordance with defined procedures, quality standards and service level agreements. Contacting internal and external stakeholders to clarify any asset updates received and highlight any issues with the data provided. Responding to internal and external stakeholder requests for information to agreed timescales and in a friendly manner. Occasionally undertaking office and field-based visits to obtain or verify asset data using appropriate survey techniques. Maintaining the asset digital document library and physical document archive. Expected Skills/Qualifications/Experience: Qualified to A-level or equivalent diploma level. Organised and able to work to deadlines. Good attention to detail is crucial. Able to proactively identify problems and find appropriate solutions. Ability to understand and read data in different formats. Previous experience in an data administration or document archiving role will be beneficial.
