We are growing our Estates Team at Hopewood Park Hospital in Sunderland and are looking for aMaintenance Assistant to join us!
As our successful candidate you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Estates Department of NTW Solutions, based at the Hopewood Park Hospital.

Main duties of the job
You will respond to a range of duties and be expected to produce work to a consistently high standard of work across the whole range of Estates Disciplines as required.
We will offer you the opportunity to undertake additional training in order to fulfil the requirements of the post, satisfy new regulations/legislation or to further to develop the duties.

Person specification
Experience
* Previous experience working experience in building, mechanical and electrical engineering
* Experience in the operation, service and repair of some of relevant types of plant and equipment
Skills and Knowledge
* Must demonstrate good understanding of health & safety.
* Meet the mobility requirements of the role
Education and Qualifications
* NVQ 1, gained in an appropriate engineering, building or construction environment.
* GCSE or equivalent to include Maths and English is desirable.
All jobs will be appointed on the NTW Solutions Limited terms and conditions and not NHS Agenda for Change terms and conditions. New starters who are not in the NHS Pension already will be enrolled into a NEST pension.
Recruitment into NTW Solutions Limited will follow the principals of NHS Employer Check Standards and any relevant employment legislation.
