Lead Engineer Responsibilities
1. Deliver large single projects or series of smaller projects (greenfield & brownfield).
2. Maintain the highest standards of HSE and client satisfaction.
3. Collaborate within a team to ensure design and construction are completed and approved on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
4. Manage all aspects of mechanical scope, including machinery, vessels, and packages.
5. Prepare technical specifications, review quotations and vendor drawings, develop design schemes, conduct site surveys, and prepare estimates.
6. Ensure all mechanical engineering works comply with contractual conditions and requirements.
7. Participate in all project phases: Concept, FEED, EPC, and provide consultancy and proposal support.
Required Experience
* Strong desire to apply technical knowledge practically and efficiently.
* Extensive engineering and contracting experience in major and minor projects.
* Motivated and confident in working at detailed levels.
* Flexible, self-driven, and effective both independently and within a team.
* Experience in leading teams of engineers and designers.
* Engineering Degree and Chartered Membership of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills for interactions with clients and technology partners.
