About Unity College
Unity College provides a warm welcome to Unity Roots. We are looking for enthusiastic and resilient teachers with prior experience of working in SEND settings to join our expanding team. We offer a bespoke educational provision in a nurturing environment across two sites: the main site in West Wycombe and a satellite nurture base on the outskirts of Aylesbury. Both sites offer safe, caring spaces for students to express feelings, emotions and anxieties that can be barriers to learning. We provide specialist vocational learning spaces, designated teaching rooms and outdoor learning opportunities. To meet the diverse needs of students at our satellite site, we ensure an adequate staff-to-pupil ratio, with typically a class comprising no more than 3 pupils across the whole site. Each class is staffed to support all needs. We value every staff member and support professional development. If you are a dedicated teacher who wants to make a difference to students' lives, please get in touch and enquire more. You are welcome to arrange a visit to the school. For any questions, please contact us. More information about Keys Group and our Therapeutic Education Services is available here.
School tours are welcome as part of our interview process. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications. Keys Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of everyone in our care. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check, suitable employment references and online checks. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Keys Group supports Armed Forces personnel, veterans and military families, and offers a Veterans Peer Support Network and Military Awareness resources. A guaranteed interview may be offered to current and former service personnel who meet the criteria for the role. If applicable, please indicate your military experience on your CV for our resourcing team to contact you.
