Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm

Overview
We are looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
Responsibilities
* Carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floors & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
* Ensure highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene across all areas of the site.
* Liaise closely with Hygiene Team Leader, work with chemicals, and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
* Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.
* Provide technical training to cleaning staff, distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness standards and order stock.
* Deal with any issues efficiently, referring to line manager where appropriate.
Qualifications
* Previous supervisory and cleaning experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
* Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemical – subject to passing COSHH training.
* IPAF certification desirable but not essential.
* Good communication skills, reliability, hard work and professional attitude.
* Can work on own initiative and follow a schedule.
