What You’ll Do
Our Service Management Accountant will be responsible for ownership of the 3 Service P&L within AVI-SPL UK and AVI-SPL Ireland respectively – reviewing Department 48 and providing guidance and training as required. You will also:
* Partner with the UK&I Service Director and key Service Managers, dealing with service-related queries.
* Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Discuss monthly reports and answer queries to ensure full financial understanding.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss Accounts for each Department in UK and Ireland.
* Monitor financial performance and analyse trends for operational reviews.
* Ensure financial implications of contracts are understood and adhered to.
* Forecast revenue using live contract data.
* Prepare budgets and provide guidance on intercompany allocations.
* Work with managers to ensure revenues and costs are accurately captured.
* Reconcile prepayments, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and accruals.
* Analyze renewals monthly and collaborate with delivery managers on renewal probabilities.
* Review customer invoices and ensure they match purchase orders and sales registration documents.
* Monitor salesforce orders for compliance.
* Perform ad hoc analysis and generate reports as needed.
