Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day work of the department, contributing to estate management, property management and consultancy instructions for private, corporate and institutional clients.
* As experience develops, take on individual responsibilities as directed, applying academic knowledge in a practical, client-focused environment.
* Work within established departmental procedures designed to maintain high professional standards and foster a positive team culture, while helping to ensure consistency of approach across the department.
* Experience exposure to a broad range of work and close collaboration with specialists across the wider PFK business; gain insight into different disciplines and how they add value for clients.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of systems and processes and help promote PFK Rural across the firm’s network of offices; opportunities to identify new work and support business development as confidence grows.
Qualifications and attributes
* Committed to pursuing professional qualifications with the RICS Rural pathway and demonstrate a genuine interest in rural property and land management.
* Well organised, keen to learn and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Proactive attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to adapt and develop new skills; appreciation of the commercial and regulatory environment in which rural property operates.
* Aspiring for structured professional development, varied experience and long-term career progression within an established rural practice.
