Overview
Registered Veterinary Nurse - Part Time (General) is a 15-hour-per-week role across 2 days (Monday & Wednesday) with 1:8 weekends on call. The successful candidate will join a dynamic referral team and work with medical and surgical teams, as well as visiting specialists in cardiology and ophthalmology, to deliver advanced patient care.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RVN with excellent attention to detail. Experience in a referral environment is beneficial, but enthusiasm, commitment and a passion for veterinary care are valued above all.
The practice is equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including on-site CT, MRI, digital radiography, arthroscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy and in-house diagnostics, providing a fantastic opportunity to enhance expertise and develop skills while delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with medical and surgical teams and visiting specialists to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain meticulous nursing standards and contribute to a supportive team environment in a referral setting. Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities as part of the practice culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a passion for veterinary care
* Attention to detail and compassionate approach
* Willingness to develop skills in a referral environment; current experience is beneficial
* Ability to work 15 hours across 2 days per week (Mon & Wed) with 1:8 weekends on call
