Responsibilities
* Provide care at a high standard to residents and be available to support them.
* Work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
* Follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
* Engage in person-centred planning meetings with the person, their circle of support, and families to promote a unified approach.
* Assist individuals to be happy, healthy, and to achieve their wishes and aspirations; contribute to meaningful and inspirational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience is preferred but not essential; ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting is the primary factor.
* Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework; mature and able to accept responsibility and manage stress.
* Willingness to follow training and complete online e-learning; full training available through the preferred training academy.
* Flexible with shifts (days, nights, sleep-ins, and waking watches). 24/7 care is provided, so willingness to cover a mixture of shifts is required; we will align work with availability where possible.
