KiddyKare are looking for an experienced nursery manager for a lovely privately owned nursery located in Pinner. The nursery is set with beautiful views and lots of outdoor space.\n\nWorking 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 and 6pm with a salary up to £55,000\n\nWhat they have to offer:\n\n * 28 days holiday per year including 5 days at Easter, 5 days at Christmas, bank holidays and the remaining to take in your own time\n\n * One extra day’s holiday per year increasing with each year of service\n\n * Additional days holiday for your birthday! If your birthday falls on a weekend, a day around the weekend will be given.\n\n * Christmas Bonus\n\n * Three paid staff inset days per year\n\n * In house training and opportunities to complete further courses and qualifications.\n\n * Complimentary team building activities and staff events\n\n * Staff childcare discount\n\nWhat your day would include:\n\n* They are responsible for ensuring all staff prepare and supervise suitable activities to create and develop a stimulating environment to provide a high level of quality childcare, whilst maintaining a professional and positive outcome for both children and staff.\n\n* Strong communication skills are imperative, this involves listening, questioning, and understanding and responding to what is being communicated by children, young people and those caring for them.
You will work and may lead as part of a multi-agency team and will be expected to have a clear understanding of your role and the role of other professionals.\n\n* Promote a high level of quality childcare whilst maintaining a professional and positive outcome for both children and staff.\n\n* Assist with providing effective training and development opportunities for all staff to stay compliant in line with legal requirements.\n\n* To be responsible for all administrative elements relating to the nursery and its upkeep, including but not limited to risk assessments, staff records, children’s records, finance and fee records, etc
