About Our Client
Our client is an established retail organisation in Singapore. They are looking for an experienced IT System Manager to own and manage their infrastructure environment as they continue to scale.
The Role
You will be responsible for the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure. This is a hands‑on server and systems administration role — not a helpdesk or end‑user support position.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain Windows Server environments including patching, performance monitoring, and system health
* Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain services
* Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user lifecycle management
* Manage user provisioning, access control, and identity management across systems
* Support system security practices including M365 security policies and identity protection
* Monitor infrastructure availability and troubleshoot server, application, and authentication issues
* Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures
* Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
* Assist in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvement projects
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator
* Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration
* Demonstrated experience managing virtualised environments (VMware and/or Hyper‑V)
* Solid experience managing Microsoft 365 environments
* Good troubleshooting skills across server and infrastructure layers
* Relevant Microsoft certifications are an advantage
* Linux server exposure is preferred
* Azure or cloud administration experience is a strong advantage
* Ability to work independently in a lean IT team
What We're Looking For
CVs should clearly reflect server and infrastructure ownership. Candidates with backgrounds limited to helpdesk, desktop support, or end‑user IT will not be considered for this role.
