We are delighted to be working with this wonderful specialist travel company based in Surrey who are seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. As Business Development Executive you will be responsible for increasing our industry sales by developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones with our travel agent partners. This involves providing consistent training and support, educating the travel trade about new products and services, delivering marketing materials, and identifying new business opportunities. This role will be field based covering the South of England, so the ideal candidate will be based in the South and be able to attend quarterly meetings in head office in Surrey. The role: Maximise and expand agency sales within the UK travel industry Develop and maintain strong relationships with our travel agent partners to ensure we are their preferred partner of choice Deliver enthusiastic and passionate training sessions to trade partners, including regular in-person sales visits Manage your own day-to-day schedule with help and guidance as required Attend and, when applicable, host travel trade, consumer, and conference events Creating and ocassionally hosting fam trips You will have: Previous experience in a similar trade sales role within travel ( essential ) Ability to develop an instant rapport with new people Ambition and be passionate and driven to succeed Ability to work autonomously Confidence on the phone, face to face or presenting to a group Outstanding social skills and enjoy going to functions and social events Additional Information: Salary circa £35,000 Car allowance Fully remote This role requires regular evening and occasional weekend work when attending industry events Monday to Friday role Generous annual leave entitlement and day off on your birthday Company pension scheme Regular company social events Private health insurance 10 day fam trip This is an amazing opportunity to join a fun and sociable team where you will play a part in growing the business to become one of the largest tour operators in the UK.
