Our clients Department of Neurology consists of three Consultant Neurologists who together have run General Neurology Outpatient Clinics, provide a neurological consultation service to the patients admitted into the Group of Hospitals. The Department also provides a specialist MS and Movement disorder service supported by clinical nurse specialists. Outpatient clinics can be provided at all three sites of our clients.
The successful appointee will play a key role in delivering a General Neurology service with preferably a specialist interest in Headache disorders. The post holder will provide outpatient consultation service and an inpatient lesion neurology input shared with the other neurologists in the department. This this involves review and management of acutely ill patients and the facility to access the full available services at the trusts main site
The appointee will be expected to participate in all departmental activities, including audit, teaching, sharing administrative responsibilities and contributing to the further development of the department are essential. The post holder will agree to work within the models of care agreed within the department.
