We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in North Somerset, who are recruiting for a permanent HR Advisor. The role is part time (26 hours per week), £26,546 per annum (£37,778 per annum FTE) and offers flexible hybrid working and working hours.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record effectively handling an ER caseload.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Manage end-to-end absence cases, including short- and long-term sickness, ensuring compliance with policy and supporting return-to-work processes
* Handle a varied ER caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and conduct issues in line with employment law and company policy
* Advise and coach line managers on ER matters to build their confidence and capability in handling people issues effectively
* Prepare documentation for hearings and formal meetings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to procedural requirements
* Support HR data reporting, identifying trends in absence and ER cases to inform proactive interventions
* Promote early intervention and resolution, encouraging informal resolution of issues where appropriate to minimise risk and maintain positive employee relations
