Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate / Associate Director to join our Environmental Consents nationwide team. This role involves strategic leadership in energy projects, contributing to the UK’s Net Zero commitments, and requires a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
* Lead expansion in the water sector, providing thought leadership and securing new business
* Offer environmental advice to clients and project teams
* Collaborate with specialists and engineering teams to promote sustainable design
* Manage large, complex projects in terms of technical quality, safety, and commercial performance
* Build and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities for support and marketing
* Develop proposals, bids, and business opportunities
* Innovate through techniques like Digital EIA and Technical Excellence
* Drive team performance, culture, and career development
* Support an inclusive, safe, and high-performing work environment
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in environmental or planning field or equivalent experience
* Experience in EIA for major water schemes
* Knowledge of consenting processes and environmental issues
* Line management experience and team development skills
* Proven business growth and client management capabilities
* Excellent communication skills
