Overview
Procurement Systems and Change Consultant role at Aviva. 12-month Fixed term contract. Location options: London, York, Norwich, Perth or Bristol (remote/hybrid arrangements may apply).
What we’re looking for
This is an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Systems and Change Consultant to join the Procurement Tech & Data team. The role focuses on maximizing value from procurement tools, processes and governance; owning and executing changes within systems or processes; and coordinating procurement system change activities, technical defects and enhancements. You will produce reporting to support the overall change picture and communicate activities to management, while collaborating with onshore and offshore partners to embed a continuous improvement culture through incremental and larger change. Strong commercial awareness and business skills are essential.
Responsibilities
* Own and execute procurement system and process changes, including governance, defects and enhancements.
* Coordinate procurement system change activities across teams and partners; manage reporting for the change portfolio.
* Collaborate with onshore and offshore partners to embed a continuous improvement culture.
* Create and communicate status updates to management and stakeholders.
* Interpret complex data to support decision making and project delivery.
Skills and experience
* Good working knowledge of change and demand management processes.
* IT knowledge with advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Ariba or other Procurement systems.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to identify customer needs and root causes.
* Ability to interpret complex data; experience with sophisticated change projects is beneficial.
* Understanding of end-to-end Procurement & SRM processes.
