We are a long-standing manufacturer of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) products, specialising in high quality formwork panels used in civil engineering and construction projects. With over 6 decades of experience we take pride in producing durable, innovative solutions that support major infrastructure developments across the world.
The Role: We are currently seeking to appoint a Quality Control Supervisor to our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and organised individual to become part of a strong, collaborative team in a growing business. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to maintaining high standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
An experienced individual who has worked in a variety of industries and can influence the manufacturing process, demonstrate competence and deliver results. Someone who will promote a “let’s get it right first time” attitude to all aspects of the role. The individual will be confident in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word and reading/interpreting technical drawings. The successful individual will show leadership by helping set clear quality standards and ensuring compliance with these standards.
The Quality Control Supervisor role will involve
* Developing and managing the QMS for ISO9001.
* Training and mentoring staff within the manufacturing facility
* Streamlining quality processes and procedures
* Coordinating with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
* Attending staff meetings/team building
* Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures
* Conducting internal audits
* Ensuring that product is inspected on the day of production at specific intervals and to comply with the relevant agreed standards.
* Ensuring reporting of defects immediately to the management team
* Raising Non-Conformance reports on the relevant form(s) and ensuring that these are assigned to the relevant person(s) for investigation and action
* Actively participating in Non-Conformance Investigations and be proactive in formulating targeted corrective actions
* Ensure to monitor that all required finishing or remedial works are identified and completed prior to stack products for delivery
* Ensuring high standards of all Quality records / documents are always maintained up to date
