My client is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in electricity distribution and transmission across Yorkshire. They deliver technically robust solutions, support career growth, and foster a collaborative environment.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead complex projects across distribution networks up to 132kV. You will oversee design, feasibility, construction, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will also manage clients, stakeholders, and contractors while mentoring junior engineers.
You are an experienced engineer with strong technical knowledge across all distribution asset classes up to 132kV. You are confident managing multiple projects, engaging stakeholders, and supporting junior team members. You are eligible (or able to obtain) Company Operational Authorisation and thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
The Role
Lead project design and delivery across 132kV networks
Review and validate technical designs, specifications, and cost estimates
Manage site investigations, audits, and CDM responsibilities
Oversee stakeholder, client, and contractor engagement
Ensure programme, cost, quality, and safety complianceThe Person
Proven experience in electricity distribution / transmission
Strong technical knowledge of all distribution asset classes up to 132kV
Eligible / able to obtain Company Operational Authorisation
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
