About the role
As an Electrical Engineer in our talented team at Leven you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance for the repair and improvement of assets and their availability across the site.
You’ll be working with various rotating industrial plant & equipment, steam systems, LV electrical distribution, heat exchangers and automated control systems.
Responsible for responding promptly and appropriately to plant breakdown situations to fault find and repair plant and equipment. You will carry out route cause problem solving to ensure downtime is minimized.
Accurately record and promptly report the outcome of maintenance problems, via the SAP maintenance system, to facilitate the sharing of best practice.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets.

3. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
For this role you will ideally be a time served Electrical Engineer or Technician with the relevant qualifications and experience working in the manufacturing industry maintaining automated machinery, including electronic drives, sensors, flowmeters and level transmitters.
It'd be great if you had a knowledge of PCS7 and functional safety systems, as well as a knowledge of working within hazardous areas. You will understand Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
Please note that due to the nature of this role candidates must be able to drive company vehicles.
Shifts
This role requires you to work a 42hr week continental shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.
