Key Responsibilities
* Rota Management:
* Create and maintain rotas for Registered Nurses, HCAs, Care/Support Workers, and peripatetic staff.
* Respond swiftly to last-minute changes, ensuring seamless shift coverage.
* Staff Support & On-Call:
* Act as the main point of contact for staff during office hours and on-call periods (with the support of our Nurse Managers), handling scheduling queries, sickness, holiday requests, and shift changes.
* Provide empathetic, solutions-focused support during challenging conversations.
* Database & Administration:
* Keep the Care Coordinator Database accurate and up to date.
* Compile weekly omission forms and function reports for management.
* Book hotel accommodation for RMTS and Bank staff.
* Assist HR and Payroll with the leavers process.
* Quality & Compliance:
* Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure staffing, training, and compliance standards are met.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities and multidisciplinary team meetings.
* Client Engagement:
* As and when it requires, visit clients in the region to build relationships and understand their needs – to ensure understanding of the dynamic of rota planning.
* On-Call Duties (on rotation with support of Regional Nurse Manager):
* Arrange cover for last-minute scheduling changes or missed shifts.
* Communicate with families and package managers regarding any issues or changes.
* Prioritise urgent on-call responsibilities while maintaining routine coordinator tasks.
* Other Duties:
* General administrative support as required.
Work two out of eight bank holidays
What You'll Bring
* NVQ or Care Certificate qualification in Care Work.
* At least 2 years' experience as an administrator in a care or similar setting.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Strong understanding of care legislation and best practices.
* Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Salary: £24,500 rising to £26,000 upon successful completion of probation
