About the department
The Student Success department is at the beating heart of our strategy to ensure every single Goldsmiths student achieves their very best, working with colleagues and students across the entire student lifecycle to widen access, increase participation and engagement and improve outcomes. We also work in partnership with the Students’ Union (SU) to centre and amplify the student voice.
About the role
As Student Transitions and Campaigns Lead, you will coordinate, deliver and develop the university’s centralised welcome, induction and transition programmes, with the aim of delivering an excellent student experience for all Goldsmiths students, both new and continuing. This includes leading new work to ensure that students joining the university at entry points throughout the year receive a comparable experience to those joining in September. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering campaigns to proactively address the challenges students our students face during their time at university, including through increasing awareness of and engagement with the academic and pastoral support on offer at Goldsmiths.
About you
You will be a highly organised project manager and events lead, with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from offer holders and current students to operational staff, academics and senior leaders. You will have an extensive understanding of the student journey, and of the challenges that students of all backgrounds may experience while at university. You will be a creative problem-solver with a strong commitment to supporting students to succeed.
