This role focuses on supporting the installation, maintenance and fault‑finding of fire alarm and AOV systems across a range of sites.
The Fire Alarm Engineer will work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering both service and small installation works while ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable and fully operational.
The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for:
Carrying out fault finding and maintenance on hardwired and wireless fire alarm systems
Commissioning and programming open protocol fire alarm panels
Installing and replacing fire alarm panels, devices and associated equipment
Diagnosing and resolving faults on AOV systems, including actuators and control panels
Supporting installation and maintenance of wireless fire alarm systems
Maintaining accurate records, reports and service documentation
The Fire Alarm Engineer will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience working with fire alarm and AOV systems
Experience with both hardwired and wireless systems
Experience supporting installation and commissioning activities
Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
