The Role As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading and inspiring our staff team while ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered. To succeed in this role, you’ll need (Qualifications): Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker. A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). At least 3 years of experience working in a support worker role, with a proven track record of success. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals in care and work effectively with other team members. Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours. A values-driven approach, with a passion for empowering others and fostering independence. Responsibilities: Provide support and guidance to individuals in need Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with other team members, ensuring that the needs of each individual are met. Oversee the work of junior support workers, providing guidance and support as needed. Monitor the progress of individuals in care, and make adjustments to care plans as necessary. Maintain accurate records of care provided, and report any concerns or issues to management. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that individuals in care are safe and secure at all times. Provide emotional support to individuals in care, and help them to develop coping strategies and life skills.
