The Role
Provide domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors of NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL) premises through effective and efficient methods, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment that meets NHSL and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) standards. Support and work alongside new staff in the working environment.

What you'll need to bring
* Knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures.
* Completion of on-the-job training and induction (4-6 weeks) to achieve full competency.
* Understanding of Health & Safety, including risk assessments.
* Mandatory NHS Lanarkshire training and HCSW standards.
* Completion of NHSS Domestic Services Workbook.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work with others and in a busy environment.
* Basic IT skills.
Note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving license is required where applicable.
Additional preferred qualifications
* Recognised SVQ or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in domestic services/cleaning.
* Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, fire safety, etc.
Contract details
Permanent, Part-Time, 9.9 hours per week. Salary is pro-rata for part-time.
Location and hours
Based in the Domestic Services Department at University Hospital Wishaw. Shifts between 6am and 10pm, depending on service needs.
