Quality Assurance Analyst
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 plus + Excellent Benefits,
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week | 4 day working week Monday to Thursday
Remote working with some sporadic office presence.
Location: Havant, Portsmouth.
Are you an experienced QA Analyst familiar with ISO 9001 / TickIT Plus and AS9100 within a defense environment? If so, this could be the next exciting opportunity for you.
You'll be collaborating with engineering and programme management functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:
Qualified AS9100 Internal Auditor (preferred) or Qualified Lead or Internal Auditor in one of the following ISO9001, Experience with 20000 or 27001 would be beneficial, or experience of conducting audits themselves.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a recognised business/ engineering qualification (e.g. apprenticeship, or time-served in armed forces engineering / technical discipline).
* Familiar with Root Cause Analysis.
* Familiar with estimating work loading and task management.
* Ability to work with and influence across multiple functions and levels within a small team
* Ability to achieve security clearance (SC) to Secret is essential.
* An understanding of a Business Management Systems e.g. Quality Processes and Requirements.
* Familiar with Process Modelling and maintenance.
* Familiar with administrative support to management meetings.
* Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work with and influence across multiple functions and levels within a small team.
Desired skills, qualifications and experience:
* Good communication skills.
* Good coordination skills, with ability to work on own initiative.
* Able to develop & maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Committed team player.
* Able to work in a flexible, and occasionally highly demanding work environment.
* Numerate and able to create presentations involving spreadsheet data and graphical information for high-level meetings.
* Understanding of a Quality Management System (QMS)
* Experience of working with UK MoD Defence and Equipment Support (DE&S) beneficial.
* Awareness of UK MoD Maritime, Land or Air based programmes.
* Awareness of UK MoD Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Regulatory Publications (MRPs).
* Awareness of Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAPs) and Joint Service Publications (JSPs).
* Human Factors Training beneficial.
* Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) trained or Continuous Improvement experience beneficial.
* Previous Military or defence experience would be of benefit.
