Your Role and Responsibilities
As our SENDCO, you will:
* Lead and coordinate innovative, evidence-based provisions for children with identified SEND needs.
* Manage SEND provision efficiently and effectively to ensure every child receives the support they need.
* Provide professional guidance in the area of SEND to secure high-quality teaching across the school.
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEND students, using insights to drive improvements in teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status and a commitment to pursuing relevant SEND CPD and qualifications.
* Experience working with parents to support SEND children.
* A proven track record as an excellent classroom teacher.
* Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations related to SEND and equality.
* Experience collaborating with external agencies.
