Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Reward Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the role As a Senior Manager in the Global Payroll team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing payroll operations across multiple clients and countries. You will be responsible for leading a team, driving technology transformation, and developing best practices for payroll governance. As a trusted leader, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as a diverse portfolio of clients to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy, whilst providing guidance to our local in-country payroll teams. If you have a passion for operational excellence, process automation, and delivering best-in-class payroll services, we would love to hear from you What your days will look like: Lead and oversee global payroll operations, managing a team who work with our PwC in-country payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for multiple countries and clients. Partner with in-country local PwC teams as well as our technology team in Mauritius to optimize payroll processes and mitigate risks. Manage relationships with clients and in-country local PwC teams, ensuring service levels are met and continuously improved. Lead payroll transformation initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and process standardization by working with our technical team based in Mauritius. Ensure effective payroll governance, risk management, and internal controls to support audits and compliance requirements. Act as a point of escalation for clients and in-country local PwC teams Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. This role is for you if: Extensive global payroll experience, ideally in a large multinational organization. Strong understanding of payroll compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Proven track record of managing complex payroll operations and leading global clients. Experience with payroll systems and technology platforms, such as Workday, ADP, SAP, or other global payroll solutions. Ability to manage client and in-country payroll provider relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process improvement and automation. Ability to handle confidential data with integrity and discretion. Excellent project management skills, with experience driving payroll transformation initiatives.
