A vacancy has arisen for a Clinical Support worker/ Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services. Changes within Primary Care have lead to the opportunity for a Clinical support worker to join the care and treatment service. The post will work closely with General Practice and Community Nursing teams.
It is essential that you have good communication skills, are flexible and adaptable and can work well within in a team while using your own initiative.
You will be based within a team and will carry out delegated work on a daily basis that will include phlebotomy and chronic disease monitoring amongst other things. Good IT skills are desirable. Training will however be provided and NHS Forth Valley is supportive of lifelong learning and development. It is also essential that you are keen to learn and develop new skills.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
