About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture bringing together international expertise from Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. We are recruiting a Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor for the Greatworth to Southam section of works. A full driving licence is required.
The role is based from our compound in Greatworth and works within an established safety team led by the section SHW Manager, supporting the delivery of HS2 work safely for the section. You will promote and assist with Corporate and Local SHW Campaigns, fostering relationships with onsite operational teams and the supply chain to monitor and drive SHW performance.
Key responsibilities include completing site safety inspections for all activities, proactively identifying trends or anomalies, and working with operational teams to close out audit/inspection findings, investigations and other actions related to the Delivery Area. You will advise the SHW Manager of common trends, events or inspection findings for local site activities, informing local campaigns and initiatives, and improving SHW performance across the Delivery Area. You will apply and communicate the benefits of relevant content of the Business Management System.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
* TechIOSH status or higher
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
* Excellent communication and engagement skills
* Strong knowledge and practical application of SH&W on the ground
* BPSS security clearance will be required
