Job description:
Salary: Up to £48,000pa
Location: Choice of Arvato site; Coleshill or Corby
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00- 40 hour week
An brand new opportunity has arrisen within Arvato due to our continued growth and expansion. As a Procurement Specialist, you'll responsible for the procurement of Arvatos Facilities Departments. Your typical day-to-day duties will include meeting with Suppliers, working on tenders RFIs and RFQs, implementing Supplier Agreements, negotiating Contracts and working with internal stakeholders as a dotted line into Head of Facilities & Engineering.
Your Tasks
* Work closely with the Facilities Team and take ownership and accountability of category strategy.
* Preparation and execution of tenders, RFIs and RFQs for facilities
* Consolidate existing Suppliers and source new
* Source new products and materials
* Negotiate and implement Supplier Agreements
* Supplier commercial negotiations
* Work with key Suppliers to improve service levels and potential groupgrowth
* Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effectiveimplementation of change
* Be accountable for achieving agreed targets and objectives
* Drive process standardisation and simplification
* Manage Supplier OTIF, troubleshoot associated service issues and lead escalations
* Promote sustainability standards throughout the Arvato and Supplier supply chains
Your Profile
* Experience of indirect procurement within an FMCG environment, ideally warehousing andlogistics
* Must be able todemonstratehands on experience with the end-to-end RFI, RFQ and tendering project delivery
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Able to create strategic and tactical plans
* Good influencer and able to work well with stakeholders
* Able to balance priorities and work to tight deadlines
* Good communicator clear and concise, written and verbal
* Problem solving
* Conflict resolution skills
* Good IT skills and a working knowledge of SAP 4Hana is desirable
