Litigation Paralegal - Walsall
Our client is a reputable West Midlands law firm seeking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal to join its Walsall office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for litigation and a strong understanding of the legal framework to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You’ll be working closely with experienced solicitors, providing vital support on a wide range of cases. A solid grasp of the Civil Procedure Rules, Solicitors Regulation Authority policies, and other relevant legislation will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct legal research, initial case assessments, and pre-claim investigations
* Draft legal documents including pleadings and statements of case; prepare and file pre-issue documentation with the court
* Organise case files, manage deadlines, and carry out general administrative duties
* Prepare and collate exhibits, documents, evidence, and legal briefs
* Source and gather relevant information to support case development
* Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and third parties
* Assist senior solicitors on more complex claims
About You
Our client is looking for a litigation paralegal who is proactive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality support. Ideally, you will have:
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar legal support role (desirable but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive information
* Excellent organisational skills with a methodical work style
* A self-motivated attitude and a genuine interest in litigation
