ROLE
As the UK CFO, you will take ownership of the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, strategic planning, and team management. Reporting directly to the UK CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and supporting the company's growth trajectory.
* Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
* Oversee the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Provide strategic financial insights to support decision‑making at the senior leadership level.
* Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and manage external audits.
* Drive financial planning and analysis to support investment decisions.
PERSON
The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a similar‑sized business. You will have a hands‑on approach and a keen interest in supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.
* Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role.
* Strong analytical skills, with an eye for process improvement.
* Effective leadership qualities, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
* Experience with M&A activity is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.
