Responsibilities / What you will do
Deliver GCSE and P16 Resits and Functional Skills Maths as part of a caring and high-performing Maths team, contributing to a curriculum that supports a wide range of learners and helps students achieve their potential. Collaborate with colleagues to continually develop teaching and learning approaches and participate in CPD opportunities.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status Essential
* Successful evidence of delivering a differentiated curriculum to students with a wide range of needs Essential
* Proven ability to use ICT in the organisation and management of their role. Essential
* Evidence of responsible, effective and motivated tutoring skills Essential
* Proven ability and qualifications in teaching Maths at Key Stage 4 and P16 Resit/Functional Skills Essential
* A commitment to the Schools mission, ethos and equal opportunities policy, together with high standards of education, care and behaviour. Desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills. Desirable
* Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team Desirable
* An empathy with the use of the Arts in education Desirable
* Evidence of the ability to work cooperatively with multi-disciplinary professionals. Essential
