We are offering a Temporary 12-month FTC position, working 37 hours per week on a flexi-time basis.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 07:00 and 10:00, and flexible finish times between 15:00 and 18:30.
Join our team as a Case Assessment Officer within the File Preparation Unit, Crime & Justice Department.
The main responsibility is to conduct quality assurance reviews on case file materials, ensuring compliance with the National File Standard. You will process crime cases for digital submission to the Crown Prosecution Service and Magistrates Court, handling cases through all stages of the Criminal Justice System, including trial and sentencing in Magistrates or Crown Court.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience or knowledge of the Criminal Justice System, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems. You should be organized, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines is essential.
