As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and plant machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in HGVs, trailers, forklifts, and plant equipment.
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
* Maintain accurate service records.
* Work as part of a skilled team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
* Experience working on commercial vehicles and/or plant machinery.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and time management skills.
* Flexibility to work overtime or shift patterns when required.
