JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Parts Advisor is to:
è Source and supply manufacturer vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed sales volume targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
è Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from manufacturer and other suppliers ensuring accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders.
è Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system.
è Pro-actively source parts.
è Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail and trade customers.
è Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are allocated correctly.
è Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
è Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
è Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
è Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Skills & Requirements
Essential
è Understanding of basic vehicle design, function and location of parts.
è Technical qualification or proven experience of working with vehicle parts.
è Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
è Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
è Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
è Energy and enthusiasm.
è Smart appearance.
