Ocean Infinity is seeking a professional and experienced geotechnical payload superintendent to coordinate the operations of ‘non-drilling mode’ geotechnical equipment such as CPT, VC, Piston core, grabs etc. on a daily basis as well as driving change and improvements related to the efficient use of our ‘non-drilling mode’ geotechnical equipment and manage the associated Geotech Payload Operators. This role also includes provides feedback to the Geotechnical Product Lead for continuous improvement of our non-drilling mode geotechnical equipment. What will you do: Coordinate the operations of our non-drilling mode geotechnical equipment such as CPT and Vibrocores with their related operators on a global basis; Support the Geotechnical Operations Lead with shallow geotech input; Manage the non-drilling mode geotech team on a daily basis; Drive non-drilling mode geotechnical development works, as required; Drive innovation for non-drilling mode geotech together with the Tech team; Project and tender support related to geotechnical scopes ; Be a proactive member of the Operations Team. Who you are: Strong knowledge and offshore experience in leading offshore seabed geotechnical operations; 10 years experience in of offshore operations; Good ability to lead teams of offshore based payload operators; Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels, engaging positively and adapting style to build and influence relationships; Experience with handling confidential information; Ability to work as part of a team and individually, working with enthusiasm, energy and resilience; Change management skills with experience in improving and developing processes; Ability to solve problems creatively and systematically, use effective researching skills, and breakdown work-streams into tasks and milestones; Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures; Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Google Drive, Teams, e-mail, among others; Interested in others and strives to act in the best interests of the team; Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work; Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders; Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; Strong interpersonal and people management skills; Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose; Open and receptive to new and different ideas; Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet. Salary for this position: Up to £80,000 per annum Salary : The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
