Lead the future of innovation and consumer insight across two of the UK’s most loved meat‑free brands.
What you'll be responsible for:
In this role, you’ll own and deliver a consumer‑led innovation pipeline, ensuring all new products successfully progress through Stage & Gate and are anchored in deep consumer, shopper and market insight. You’ll lead the development of product concepts, manage insight generation, idea screening, concept testing, and translate complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that influence strategic and commercial decision‑making.
You’ll partner closely with Brand, Category, R&D/Product Supply, Product Development and Marketing teams to shape future portfolio direction, inform campaigns, and embed consumer and shopper insight across the business. As the lead for our annual research programme, you’ll design and manage strategic quantitative and qualitative projects, oversee the Brand Tracker, and act as an internal consultant on all things insight.
This role also carries leadership responsibility, line‑managing both an Insight Executive and Brand Innovation Manager, building insight capability across teams, and nurturing strong relationships with external agency partners.
This position will be based from our Leeds office circa 2–3 days per week, with flexibility to work remotely when required.
What experience you'll need to have:
- Extensive background in an FMCG or Retail focused innovation or consumer insight/research role
- Expertise in translating consumer research into compelling product concepts and then engaging internal teams
- Specialist knowedlge in a wide range of research methodologies for both consumer & shopper
- Collaborative and engaging storytelling ability, with confidence developing data-led stories to influence across multiple teams/levels
- Experienced user of tools to interpret performance metrics and data driven insight (e.g. NIQ Discover, Kantar)
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
