Job Title: Project Manager Application Migration Contract Type: 6-month initial contract (Inside IR35) Location: Fully Remote Client: Leading Financial Services Organisation Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead application migration initiatives for a large financial services client. This role will focus on the delivery of complex application migrations within a banking environment, requiring strong stakeholder management, supplier coordination, and rigorous reporting. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact across business, technology, and third-party partners to ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to regulatory and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of application migration projects within a regulated banking environment. Manage multiple suppliers and third-party vendors, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and delivery against agreed milestones. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders. Own project governance, planning, RAID management, and delivery reporting. Produce and present clear project metrics, progress updates, and executive-level reporting. Act as a senior point of escalation and face off to the wider business and supplier community. Ensure risks, dependencies, and impacts are clearly identified, managed, and communicated. Drive delivery discipline while maintaining strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering application migration projects within a financial services or banking environment. Strong background in supplier and vendor management, including managing delivery across multiple partners. Experience managing both products and people in complex delivery environments. Demonstrable expertise in project reporting, metrics definition, and delivery of measurable outcomes. Confident engaging with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions. Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment with high levels of accountability. Why Apply?
