Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Engineer role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:
Design and develop structural designs and solar framing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Drive new product development initiatives, including design certification, while ensuring solutions are cost-effective and practical.
Plan, conduct, and oversee on-site geotechnical surveys. Providing timely, actionable reports to the Project Manager to confirm suitability.
Perform on-site axial load testing of driven pile products, interpreting results to select the most appropriate and reliable solutions.
Provide expert structural calculations for solar projects, supporting the design team with advanced engineering solutions.
Work closely with the design team to deliver innovative, efficient, and timely solutions across multiple projects.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
Experienced in PV ground mount systems.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Personal skills
