For the successful Multiskilled Engineer our client is offering:
* Starting salary of £49,400 per annum
* 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 05:55 - 18:05/17:55 - 06:05

As a Multiskilled Engineer Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Dealing with breakdowns on a daily basis
* Fault finding
* Dealing with both Mechanical & Electrical issues
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Working with PLC Controls and carrying out fault finding related activities
* Continuous improvement throughout the plant
* Supporting with NPI
* Working to agreed deadlines
* Root cause analysis & identifying ways to stop the issue reoccurring
* Liaising with Operators to understand issues
What our client is looking for in a Multiskilled Engineer:
* Experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry - PREFERRED
* Candidates must be Multi Skilled, with an emphasis on being Mechanically biased but our client is looking for somebody to have a strong understanding of Electrical Control Wiring Diagrams
* City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or BTEC National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - ESSENTIAL
* Experience with PLC's - ESSENTIAL
* Applicants will be expected to go through a 2 stage interview process with the first stage being a numeracy and literacy assessment, as well as completing an Engineering test
