GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join schools in the Hoyland (S74) area immediately. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster students’ confidence and creativity, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage pupils to explore performance, develop acting skills, and build confidence. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development through creative learning. Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the learning experience. Requirements for Drama Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong knowledge of drama techniques, theatre practice, and the national curriculum. Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills. Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and inspire students. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
