Chef de Partie / Sous Chef – Luxury Rosette Restaurant, Islay Location: Islay, Inner Hebrides Contract: Immediate start – until 6th January Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7 Pay: £18.25 per hour Accommodation: Available (£200 per month) The Role We are seeking a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our small, dedicated brigade of four chefs within a luxury 12-bedroom property on Islay. You’ll play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes and maintaining our Rosette-level culinary standards. This is a hands-on position, ideal for a passionate chef looking to work with premium ingredients in a professional yet supportive environment. Main Duties Prepare, cook, and present dishes to Rosette standard. Work efficiently within a small team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Support the Head Chef in menu planning and daily specials. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in line with current legislation. Ensure stock control and assist with ordering and inventory management. Contribute ideas for seasonal dishes and presentation. Supervise and train junior staff as required (for Sous Chef applicants).
