Job Description
We are seeking fearless Managers who are willing to take risks and reap rewards.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing your store and team within The Frasers Group, being accountable for all outcomes. You will achieve this by maintaining strong commercial awareness, training, coaching, and engaging your team, and providing inspirational leadership to surpass company objectives.
The Ambition
You will be a hands-on Manager who leads by example, operating as a business manager for your store. You will ensure that business initiatives are met with positivity and pace while managing store operations, customer service, budgeting, people, and product.
Key Result Areas and Competencies
1. Manage store operations and ensure delivery on all KPIs.
2. Train and coach the team to best practices, demonstrating these during area/regional visits.
3. Use reports to meet wage controls weekly, resolving issues promptly.
4. Understand customer expectations and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
5. Know product features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities.
6. Maintain strong commercial awareness of the retail industry, competitors, and customers.
7. Identify internal talent, support development opportunities, and manage performance.
8. Be proactive in personal development and receptive to feedback.
9. Create a team succession plan to support business growth.
10. Promote and coach the team on Frasers Group's core values.
11. Engage with the team to gather feedback and contribute ideas to the wider business.
12. Act as a role model and take a hands-on approach to store management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years retail management experience.
* Ability to positively influence sales, payroll, and stock loss.
* Proven success in developing management teams and talented individuals.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to high store standards and customer service.
* Strong commercial awareness and report analysis skills.
* A proactive, hands-on approach to management.
