Agile Delivery Manager
Manchester (Hybrid - two days per week on site)
£55,000-£65,000 + bonus and benefits
We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to play a key role alongside product and engineering teams. This position suits someone who enjoys understanding how work moves through a system, uncovering points of friction, and supporting teams to deliver reliably and sustainably.
The role
As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will work closely with cross‑functional product squads, partnering day to day with Product Managers and Engineers. Rather than operating as a traditional project manager, you'll be embedded within teams, actively supporting better ways of working, improving visibility, and enabling stronger delivery outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Making work visible so teams understand progress, bottlenecks and constraints
2. Using delivery data and metrics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
3. Coaching teams in modern Agile practices, with an emphasis on outcomes over rigid processes
4. Proactively managing dependencies, risks and constraints before they affect delivery
5. Supporting initiatives that touch on regulation, compliance or change, including areas such as payments or accounts
6. Improving transparency from early discovery through to release and adoption
This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role centred on flow, systems thinking and continuous improvement, rather than plans, deadlines and status reporting.
About you
You'll bring experience working within Agile product or technology environments and feel comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and product leaders. You'll be confident using delivery insight and data to explain what's happening and to support informed decision‑making.
We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:
7. Experience supporting Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban or hybrid approaches
8. A practical understanding of flow‑based metrics such as WIP, throughput and cycle time
9. The ability to create shared clarity and alignment around goals and priorities
10. A calm, clear and collaborative communication style
11. Hands‑on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
12. Curiosity about how delivery systems evolve and how they can improve over time
Experience in regulated sectors such as fintech, gambling or gaming would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Why join?
You'll be part of an organisation that actively encourages improvement and continuous learning. It's large enough to offer meaningful delivery challenges, yet agile enough for your contribution to make a visible impact quickly. You'll work with down‑to‑earth, pragmatic colleagues who value trust, ownership and delivering work to a high standard.
Benefits
13. Salary of £55,000 to £65,000
14. Discretionary annual bonus
15. Enhanced holiday allowance, increasing with service
16. 24/7 digital GP access
17. Enhanced parental and family leave
18. Wellbeing and financial support initiatives
19. Hybrid working model with two days per week on site
If you're motivated by improving delivery systems, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and helping people do their best work, we'd be keen to hear from you.
