Job Title: Commercial Manager\nLocation: Based in London office, with regular site visits. Hybrid working available.\nWorking Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday\nSalary: Competitive - dependent on experience (Car allowance included)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a Commercial Manager to join a growing, family-owned Building Management Systems (BMS) business. This role is pivotal to supporting ongoing growth by bridging the gap between technical delivery, commercial risk, and client relationships.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nAssisting in growing the business by managing commercial processes and performance\n\nOverseeing contracts, purchase orders, and subcontractor agreements\n\nWorking closely with the Project Director and cross-functional teams\n\nManaging commercial and contractual risk to ensure projects are profitable and delivered on time\n\nSupporting a wide range of BMS projects-from small works (~£5k) to large-scale upgrades (up to £3.5m)\n\nActing as the key link between technical delivery teams, clients, and the financial/commercial side of the business\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nJoin a family-owned business with a supportive, close-knit culture\n\nBe part of a company growing organically-£8m revenue last year, aiming for £12m in 3-5 years\n\nWork on a diverse range of projects with autonomy and input into strategic decisions\n\nCollaborate closely with senior leadership and make a direct impact\n\nEnjoy regular social events and a strong team spirit\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nQuantity Surveying background or strong commercial management experience\n\nProven experience managing contracts and subcontractor agreements\n\nStrong financial skills, including budget and margin management\n\nIdeally from a BMS or engineering/construction background\n\nComfortable working both site-based and in London/Egham offices\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills
